The Netherlands Mobility Panel (MPN) studies trends in the travel behavior of a fixed group of individuals and households over a long period (since 2013). It can be used to determine how changes in personal and household characteristics and in other travel-related factors (e.g. economic crisis, reduced taxes on sustainable transport, changes in land-use or increased availability and use of ICT) correlate with changes in travel behavior. The research is carried out by a team of researchers from KiM Netherlands Institute for Transport Policy Analysis (Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management).
The MPN data can only be accessed if you have the required login information. It is also possible to collect additional data via the MPN system by cooperating with KiM on bespoke and supplementary studies. You can find more information on how to obtain access to the MPN data and the possibilities for collecting additional data here: https://english.kimnet.nl/the-netherlands-mobility-panel/access-to-mpn-data
